Overview

EasyScale, available at TryEasyLaunch.com (“EasyScale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a directory where people can discover software and submit products for review. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password hash when you register with email, email-verification status, and authentication session information.
• Submissions: product names, descriptions, website and social links, categories, pricing information, logos, screenshots, and other material you submit for a listing.
• Communications: information you send when you contact us or respond to listing-review messages.
• Technical information: IP address, browser or device information, session identifiers, request logs, and security events generated when you use the service.

Some submitted listing information is intended to be published publicly after review. Please do not submit confidential or personal information in a product listing.

Google Sign-In

When you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides basic profile information, including your name, email address, and confirmation that the email address is verified. We use that information only to create or locate your EasyScale account, authenticate you, and mark the account email as verified.

We do not store Google access tokens or refresh tokens, and we do not request or access your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, contacts, or other Google content. We retain only the account information described above. Our use of information received from Google is limited to providing and securing account authentication.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and secure accounts and authentication.
• Save, review, moderate, publish, and maintain product listings.
• Send transactional messages about verification, password recovery, and listing status.
• Detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.
• Understand service performance and improve the user experience.

We do not sell your personal information or use Google account information for targeted advertising.

How information is shared

Approved listing information is displayed publicly. We may also share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, storage, email delivery, website importing, security, and authentication. These providers may process information only to perform services for us.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not share Google account information except as needed to provide authentication, comply with law, or protect the service.

Cookies and sessions

EasyScale uses cookies and similar session storage needed to keep you signed in, protect forms, preserve a submission while you create an account, and remember security state during authentication. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account and submission features from working.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and listing information while it is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Unsubmitted drafts and their unreferenced media may be removed after seven days. Security logs and backups may remain for a limited period after other information is deleted.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Removing an account or listing may not immediately remove information from backups, legal records, or content already shared outside the service.

Security and children

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. EasyScale is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date on this page when we do.
